Annual dues are $45 per person, $65 for two people in the same household, and $25 for students or associates. LWVLA also offers a voluntary sustaining level of membership, $75 per person or $95 per household.
Membership in the League of Women Voters of Los Alamos automatically includes membership in the LWVUS and LWVNM.
Dues are not tax-deductible.
Who can join?
Regular membership is open to men and women 16 years or older. Student memberships are available, and reduced rate memberships can be arranged based on need.
As a member, how involved do I have to be?
It's up to you! You may choose to become involved by studying an issue, participating in community forums, monitoring public meetings, registering people to vote, or serving in a leadership role. However, many members choose to support the work of the League by paying annual dues even if they do not have time to participate actively. Others support the League by making a tax deductible donation to the League's Education Fund. Your membership alone gives us the political influence needed to build a voice for citizens and a force for change.
